In 1985 my family and I moved to Pennsylvania. There I was able to meet Pastor Ralph Gilbert of Freedom Thru Jesus Fellowship. I began to seek this ministry for help with the migraines. Through Ralph's ministry I was delivered from a lot of bitterness and was completely healed of all evidence of migraines. Gloria & Ralph Gilbert
WHO WE ARE
Rev. Ralph Gilbert and his wife, Gloria, work together closely with others who have been trained in prayer-healing ministry. Rev. Ralph Gilbert is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The members of the ministry staff have received training and are under the supervision of Rev. Gilbert; however they are not licensed counselors, but serve as prayer-healing ministers.
We minister by the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit to all who have problems, especially the victims of childhood and early life abuse, sexual abuse, those who have had traumatic experiences, those suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and those with Dissociative Disorders, those with marriage issues and those struggling with addictive problems.
Our Vision
Freedom Thru Jesus Fellowship (FTJF) started over 25 years ago in Ralph and Gloria Gilbert's home with a Friday night fellowship. People came from a three-state area for ministry. Many received healing and discovered first-hand what the Bible says about healing and deliverance is true. People found that the power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is active and working powerfully today, just as it was in the time Jesus walked on this earth. Many are witnessing that the works in the Book of Acts are still happening today. These Friday night meetings and personal ministry birthed pastors and many prayer-healing ministers.
During this time hundreds have received help for early life abuse, sexual abuse, addictions, depression, anxiety, demonic torment, and spiritual confusion, to name just a few of the problems troubling people that came for ministry. They received healing and experienced the awesome power and connection with love and grace of God in a very personal way. There have been many testimonies of changed and redeemed lives, miracles, healings, and marriages saved. As a result, many of these people answered a call to ministry and service to God, locally and around the world, attesting to the anointing on this ministry. The ministry has the spiritual oversight of a global ministry and a dedicated Board of Directors.
As the ministry grew, a training course was established so the lessons learned were passed on to others who could be empowered in ministry, furthering the growth of our vision. The 33-week training program was established to train and disciple others to carry out this work in their areas of influence. As a result, several have come for supervision of their ministry work. Many of God's people who have completed the majority of their healing journey have taken the training course to be involved in this type of ministry because of the healing and understanding they have gained in their own healing journey. Over 100 students have graduated, many going on to part-time and full-time ministry. We continually receive testimonies of how this training and material is touching lives around the world.
